Role Description

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor maintains and ensures proper materials handling and storge in warehouse locations. Schedules and coordinates shipments. Coordinates unloading of shipping containers, organizing and maintaining supplies. Manages physical inventory and follows documentation procedures per SOP. Ensures lot integrity, proper storage and handling per procedures are followed.

Location: ByHeart Manufacturing Facility

Shift: Nights

Role Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks per written procedures and complete documentation.
  • Stores and monitors all raw materials/products and serves as a key monitor of inventory levels within the manufacturing and Supply Chain area.
  • Stage materials as required to supply Production on a timely basis.
  • Carries out the cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Plans material movements per the Production schedule and W/O requests.
  • Identifies and investigates material discrepancies and reports on them.
  • Coordinates Shipping and Receiving operations and communicates SR schedules to ensure Material Handlers are prepared to handle.
  • Completes master sanitation activities in warehouse functions.
  • Warehouse Safety (lifts, trucks, equipment operation) training and GMP's (Allergen separation, control, documentation).
  • Warehouse/Storage regulatory compliance and documentation verification.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: High School or Equivalent
  • Experience: 5 Years' Experience in Logistics and Warehouse
  • Able to take direction from Warehouse Manager and coordinate activities based on the production schedule.
  • Must be able to write clearly and in an organized fashion. Must be able to become proficient in the use of Deacom, MS office; and other company provided software.
  • Infant Formula or Food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Need ability to stand, crouch and climb to perform adjustments to equipment, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, follow CGMP's, and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements

This role is eligible for relocation support for candidates requiring a move to Portland, OR.
