To direct and organize all activities around facility systems, equipment operations, and day-to-day functioning of the machines or tools. Oversee, direct, and lead the work of maintenance technicians to ensure that the company's goals are met, and applicable laws and regulations are followed.
- Implements and manages CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) program. Monitors equipment inventory and places orders when necessary.
- Carries out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues as part of a preventive maintenance program. Keeps maintenance logs and reports on daily activities.
- Supervises and leads all maintenance processes, operations, and Maintenance staff.
- Develops maintenance procedures to ensure work is done in a timely, efficient manner. Investigates/corrects situations of poor performance immediately in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Oversees equipment calibration by testing equipment and instruments to check that their readings and output meet expected results.
- Manages relationships with contractors and service providers including preparing specifications for utility-related maintenance and repair projects and hiring and supervising contractors during installations, repairs, or maintenance. Develops Maintenance Technician/Skilled Millwright program for installing, transferring, and repairing equipment and machinery.
- Prepares weekly maintenance schedules and allocates workload to support turnaround and shutdown planning.
- Contributes to the development of maintenance budget by monitoring expenses and controlling the budget for the maintenance department.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations

Education and/or Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree from a vocational school preferred
- Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lb./25 kg.
- Must have ability to stand, crouch, climb, and work in confined spaces to perform adjustments to equipment, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor Bulleted list of physical requirements.
- Ability to wear PPE as necessary
Regulatory Requirements
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, follow CGMP's, and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements Bulleted list of regulatory requirements.
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local standards for the manufacture of infant formula and other non-infant nutritional foods.
