Reports To: Production Shift Supervisor

Location: Allerton, Iowa

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: Starting at $20.75/HR

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Production Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts, handling mixes, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various production and sanitation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and products within the facility.
• Mix Handling: Obtain, verify, and clean mixes as required.
• Mix Dumping: Efficiently dump mixes and ensure proper handling.
• Dump Room Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dump room.
• Material Handling: Haul bags from Nucon and the packing room.
• SAP Input: Accurately input data for shroud bags into the SAP system.
• Bag Management: Rack and wrap bags as needed.
• Daily CIPs and Day Tank Make-Up: Assist with daily Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures and day tank make-up as directed.
• Sanitation Breaks: Assist with sanitation breaks and additional sanitation activities as required.
• General Cleaning: Keeping general areas clean and tidy.

Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous food manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Must be self-disciplined, a team player, and be able to handle emergency situations common to the operation.
• Must be able to maintain and display personal cleanliness and follow GMPs as described in company guidelines
• Must be able to write clearly and in an organized fashion
• Must be able to use a computer, Microsoft Office, and other company provided software
• Able to lift 50 lb/25 kg bags or drums during the batching and bagging process. Need ability to stand, crouch and climb to perform adjustments to equipment, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor
